About the company
HireIQ is partnering with a hugely successful family-owned business based in the Antrim area seeking a Company Accountant to oversee its finance department. This role will report to the Managing Director, overseeing a small finance team. A superb opportunity for any qualified or qualified by experience accountants seeking to join a friendly local business with ambitious growth plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Cashflow management
- Statutory returns
- Overseeing AP/AR
- Liaising with auditors
- Business partnering with non-finance staff
- Driving continuous improvement
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
