About the company
A long-established business in the Strabane area is seeking a Company Accountant to oversee their finance function, reporting to the Managing Director. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant working in practice or industry, offering varied exposure to all areas of this business, and working as part of a tight-knit and established team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Year-end accounts
- Oversee a small finance team
- Cashflow management
- Liaise with key external stakeholders
- Implementing process improvements where required
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent IT skills (including Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
