About the company 

Delighted to be working with this leading company based in the County Down area as they hire for a Company Accountant, reporting to the MD. This 18-month contract offers a well-rounded position, market-leading salary and benefits package presenting a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to step up, taking advantage of the exposure this role can provide.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly accounts, including completion of journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Manage a small AP/AR team
  • VAT Returns
  • Cash flow management
  • Production of annual budgets and quarterly reforecast
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with relevant experience
  • Strong IT Skills – Advanced Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
