About the company
A leading local employer based in the Northwest seeks to add a Company Accountant to their finance team, working closely with the Finance Director. This is a wide-ranging role offering exposure to various areas of this highly established and successful business. Open to Qualified Accountants and Part-Qualified/QBE candidates with experience in a similar role – if you’re seeking to progress your career and gain unmatched exposure, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow management
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
