About the company
One of Mid-Ulster’s most successful businesses, based in the Magherafelt area is seeking an additional Company Accountant to join their finance team due to continued growth and success. This role will involve working closely with the Financial Controller and other key stakeholders across the business, helping to oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Business partnering with key stakeholders
- Cashflow management
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
