About the company
This role would be suited to a Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant, working within an established finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller. A wide-ranging role that offers exposure to many areas of the finance function. This is a full-time role however a four day working week can also be considered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow management
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part/Qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
