About the company
A local success story based in the Northwest are seeking to add a Company Accountant to their growing finance team due to plans for further expansion this year. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Group FC, playing a key part in the day-to-day management of all areas of the finance function, as well as overseeing a small team. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious accountant who is looking to accelerate their career.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Overseeing the AP/AR process
- Preparation of statutory returns
- Weekly/monthly payroll
- Cashflow management
- Managing a small finance team
- Liaising with auditors
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE accountant with experience in a fast-paced industry environment
- Excellent IT Skills (Particularly MS Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
