You will work closely with the Financial Controller, and assist with the leadership and development of the finance department. About the job
Duties to include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the business
- Statutory returns (VAT/PAYE)
- Budgeting/forecasting
- Assist with management and development of the finance team
- Ensure the Company’s financial policies are current and being adhered to.
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Qualified Accountant (Qualified by experience with demonstrable industry experience may be considered)
- Team player with ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Experience of using accounting software packages
