About the company
HireIQ Finance is delighted to be exclusively working with a thriving business in the Northwest who have a newly created requirement for a Company Accountant to join their team as a result of sustained growth, working closely with the Group FC.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Overseeing AP/AR
- Preparation of statutory returns
- Weekly/monthly payroll
- Cashflow management
- Drive continuous improvement of key processes across the finance function
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE accountant with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT Skills (Particularly MS Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
