HIREIQ Finance is liaising with a long-established company in the Northwest who are keen to appoint a Company Accountant to manage their day-to-day finances. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Qualified or Qualified by Experience accountant to join a long-established local business, where you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, reporting to the Group Finance Director.
About the job
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for key duties including:
- Preparing monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Statutory accounts
- Manage a small finance team
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or QBE/Part-qualified with relevant industry experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Proven ability to manage and communicate effectively with all levels within the business
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Team player with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
