HIREIQ Finance are exclusively assisting a key client in Omagh to appoint a Company Accountant to take ownership of the day to day running of their finance function. An exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and enthusiastic individual, you will report to the directors and oversee a small finance team. Market leading salary and benefits package on offer.
About the job
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for key duties to include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function
- Statutory returns
- Liaise with external stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Proven ability to manage and communicate effectively with all levels within the business
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Team player with ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Strong IT skills
