HIREIQ Finance are liaising with a key client located in the Maghera area to add driven and enthusiastic Company Accountant to their finance team. This thriving local business, which has been continuously growing and evolving, offers superb career progression prospects. As a member of a strong finance team, you will work closely with the Finance Director.
About the job
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for key duties to include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- KPI reporting
- Cost analysis
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Preparing for audit
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Director
Your skills and experience
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Part-Qualified with industry experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment
- Proven ability to manage and communicate effectively with all levels within the business
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Team player with ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Strong IT skills
