About the Job
- Prepare monthly divisional management accounts, including concise variance analysis and KPI commentary.
- Assist in developing multi-year financial forecasts, annual budgets, and trading forecasts.
- Deliver financial presentations to Senior Management and support strategic decision-making.
- Improve financial analysis quality for Senior Management through teamwork.
- Foster cross-functional relationships to ensure consistent data flow.
- Coordinate with auditors and IT department on financial queries and system implementation.
- Enforce internal control procedures and collaborate for enhancements.
- Address divisional management queries and manage shared operating cost recharges.
- Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely tax return submissions.
- Manage working capital focusing on debtor collection and WIP minimization.
- Supervise AP, AR, and payroll, especially subcontractor and supplier payments.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and review reconciliations.
- Review VAT, PAYE/PRSI returns, and analyse the Fixed Asset Register.
Your skills & experience
- Fully Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA etc
- Top 10 Trained is preferable
