About the Job

We are seeking a Business Advisory Manager to join the team in Balbriggan, Dublin.

This is a client-facing role where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality business advisory and accounting services, and supporting the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Take full ownership of a client portfolio, including year-end and management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Deliver specialist advisory and project work to a high technical standard
  • Oversee finalisation of accounts and provide clear, concise client reports
  • Ensure client deadlines and requirements are met in line with agreed budgets and timelines
  • Mentor and train junior team members, supporting their professional development
  • Keep up to date with legislation and technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 1A, GAAP)
  • Contribute to business development, tenders, and proposals as required

Your Skills & Experience

  • ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Previous experience in a similar client-facing manager role within practice
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (Xero or other cloud-based platforms)
  • Proven track record of managing a client portfolio and delivering advisory services
  • Experience training and mentoring junior team members
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
