They are a specialist provider of Telecoms and IT Installation, Maintenance and support to business customers throughout Ireland and the UK. They offer a full and comprehensive Telecoms Consultancy, installation and maintenance service, and In line with ongoing business success they now seek to appoint a Billing Analyst.

Experience of working in a similar role within the Telecoms or IT industry is highly advantageous.

The Role 

This is an excellent opportunity with a forward-thinking business where the billing team plays a key role across the company. As the Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for dealing with a range of queries on customer accounts, integration of acquisitions and strict deadlines for completion of bill runs.

Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Billing Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Check invoices and inventory for errors and initiate disputes with carriers Critical thinking and problem solving

• Ensure the timely and accurate addition of new charges to the billing system in line with contract information Ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly bill runs

• Provide analytical support to resolve customer queries, enabling colleagues to provide excellent customer service

• Maintain and update system rate cards to ensure accuracy of automated billing processes

• Analyse large volumes of data to complete product reconciliations, ensuring accuracy as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements 

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written

• Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)

• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel

• Excellent attention to detail achieving high levels of accuracy
