About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to step into a highly visible role with strong client exposure, leadership responsibilities, and long-term career growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements as the in-charge auditor across clients of varying size, industry, and complexity
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of audit engagements to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Oversee engagement timelines, deliverables, and workflow to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP requirements
  • Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with professional standards
  • Evaluate internal controls, financial reporting processes, and risk areas during engagements
  • Identify issues, recommend solutions, and escalate key findings to leadership when necessary
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client personnel throughout the engagement process
  • Lead client meetings and present audit findings with confidence and professionalism
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure quality control and engagement efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards, including GAAS requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required
  • CPA designation or active CPA candidate strongly preferred
  • 3–5 years of public accounting audit experience required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
  • Experience leading audits and managing engagements from planning through completion
  • Strong financial statement preparation and review experience
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with clients
  • Confident presentation skills with experience leading client-facing meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
