Audit Manager – Fully Remote

HireIQ through their partnership with ATI are working with an established and progressive practice in Dublin who require a fully remote Audit Manger to join their established accounting team. This practice is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our professional senior team in a full-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in a career, as the role entails managing a portfolio of clients and providing audit and other services to a diverse array of companies and groups. Key responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the efficient, effective, and timely planning, managing, and execution of Audit engagements. This includes supervising and training junior members of the team to ensure standards are upheld throughout the process. Other duties include project management, research and resolution of technical queries from clients, managing work in progress and billings, identifying client needs and potential new business opportunities, and engaging in client fee negotiations. The successful applicant must also demonstrate a commitment to high quality work and adhering to professional standards.

Previous experience

• Ability to make professional judgements based on findings,
• Portfolio management experience,
• Attention to detail and analytical assessment,
• Experience working as part of a team supporting others,
• Commercial awareness,
• Enthusiasm to drive change or improve the operating environment including embracing new technology when appropriate,
• Experience in Relate Software (Drive/Accounts Production/Corporation Tax) is desirable
• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Strong technical skills (FRS102 / IFRS),
• Strong audit manager experience,
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines whilst maintain standards
