This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional looking to take ownership of the audit function within a progressive firm. Working closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, you will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and developing the audit team, providing technical guidance and supporting the continued growth of the department. The firm is open to considering an experienced Audit Assistant Manager who is ready to step into a management position and take on greater responsibility.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of SME clients with turnovers typically between €20m and €50m, providing a strong mix of industries and engagement types. It is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a hands-on management role with long-term progression prospects.

What they’re looking for:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Approximately 3–4 years PQE
  • Strong audit training background, ideally gained within a Top 15 practice
  • Currently working within practice
  • Hands-on audit experience with the ability to manage engagements from planning to completion
  • Experience leading and developing audit teams
  • Exposure to a broad range of audit assignments across multiple sectors
  • Strong technical audit knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ambitious and motivated to take ownership of the audit function
  • Experienced Audit Assistant Managers looking to step up will also be considerer
