About the Job of the Assistant Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties…

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of monthly management accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
• Financial reporting.
• Complete monthly VAT Returns
• Complete Intra-Stat reporting
• Monthly Sales reporting
• Posting of journals
• Weekly reporting packs
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Previous experience

• Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qual ACCA/CIMA or QBE
