This well-recognised industry company is recruiting for an assistant accountant on a permanent basis. This company is based in Belfast, has free onsite parking and has fully remote / hybrid working options.

About the Job

What you will be doing initially:

•  Support the internal management reporting and analysis activities for Allstate’s investment portfolio by preparing analysis, compiling reports, and assisting in updating presentations in support of team deliverables

•  Participate on current reporting project and complete analyses as requested by management

•  Own and be accountable for execution of responsibilities

•  Work collaboratively within team and with suppliers of plan and data manipulation

•  Able to work with large amounts of data and able to ensure the accuracy of the results

•  Clearly articulate point-of-view, and analyse problems with assistance of management

Your skills & experience 

Essential criteria:

•  All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK’

•  A degree classification in Finance, or related discipline, OR

o  A degree in a non-finance related discipline but supported with a post-graduate qualification within a finance or accountancy related discipline, OR

o  At least 3 years experience in a Finance role

?  General understanding of financial and accounting concepts

?  2 years experience within a finance based role

?  Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA
