This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to play a key role in the day-to-day finance operations of a multi-currency, international business.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant in a similar role (Part-Qualified Accountant desirable)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier and customer invoices as part of a team
• Maintain and reconcile multiple bank accounts across three currencies
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Process purchase ledger invoices and match delivery notes and POs
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Maintain the Sales Ledger Control account
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and credit card statements
• Manage credit control and customer accounts
• Complete VAT returns in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end account preparation
• Maintain accurate customer records and respond to financial queries
• Carry out ad hoc finance duties as required
