About the Job

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the Monthly management accounts production
• Reconcile the key Balance Sheet
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing of online payments
• Daily bank reports
• Assist with the Year-end audit file for auditors
• Audit queries
• Vat returns
• Grant claims
• Completion of EC Sales, Intrastat reporting
• Intercompany invoices/balances

Previous experience

• Previous experience working in a busy office environment
• Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or Trainee/ Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or QBE
