About the Job
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties…
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation the monthly management accounts including month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset register, analysis and KPIs.
- General ledger maintenance
- Support the group accountant.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficiency.
Previous experience
- Previous experience working in a busy finance environment
- Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qual ACCA/CIMA or QBE
