About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business that is leveraging innovation and technology to transform its sector.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on purchase ledger management, employee expense processing, and financial control. This position offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and tech-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the purchase ledger to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
  • Reconcile supplier statements and support monthly payment runs
  • Administer employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and HMRC guidance
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end reports and reconciliations
  • Provide general support to the finance function as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
  • Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and expense management processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Experience with finance systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) is desirable
