Reporting to the Finance Director this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties… 

  • Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (If experience allows)
  • Processing information onto Purchase Ledger in a detailed nominal structure
  • Assisting in preparation of BACS payment runs
  • Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements, with the ability to investigate and resolve any discrepancies
  • Completion of Bank Reconciliations
  • Intercompany Account Reconciliations
  • Liaise with Suppliers in relation to queries and missing invoices.
  • VAT / Intrastat Return submissions
  • Ensure adherence to month-end deadlines
  • Undertake any other duties which may be required by management.
  • Supporting other areas within the finance department when required

Your skills & experience 

  • IATI Qualification or Currently Studying towards professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Evidence of analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
