About the Job

To support the Finance Director with their day-to-day functions by carrying out accounting duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust models to accurately track and analyse revenue streams by customer and project.
  • Streamline revenue review processes so that revenue can be identified by contract in a timely manner.
  • Manage daily revenue forecasting process and provide update to Senior Finance Team.
  • Post all revenue related journals at month end.
  • Reconcile all revenue related balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage all USGAAP related revenue processes and requirements.
  • Manage all SOX compliance related revenue processes and requirements.
  • Manage all revenue related audit requests at year end.
  • Other ad hoc duties that may be assigned to you by the Senior Finance Team.

Skills/Qualifications required

  • Has gained experience in an Accountant role
  • Proactive and diligent approach to all tasks undertaken.
  • Excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles and a strong understanding of ERP systems and associated processes.
  • Good IT skills and Sage Intacct knowledge would be desirable
  • Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Experience required

  • 2 years’ experience in an accounting role
