As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your role will encompass various responsibilities such as;

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to guarantee prompt and correct processing of invoices
  • In line with business policies and processes, review and process invoices for payment.
  • To verify payment accuracy and address any disparities, keep an eye on and reconcile vendor accounts.
  • Answer questions from vendors and promptly address any problems
  • Ensure that all accounts payable documentation, including vendor files and payment records, are current and accurate.
  • Experience with VAT
  • Working with a high volume of invoices in a busy accounts environment

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the concepts and procedures of accounts payable
  • Capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel
  • 3+ years minimum experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of VAT
