What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
A willingness to learn and grow within the finance function

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly
Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the accounting system
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and reporting
Prepare and submit financial reports as required by management
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and support financial queries
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts as needed
