Duties

The Accounts Technician will play an integral role within the accounts function, you’ll be responsible for completing and assisting with…

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Data analysis, reconciliations and other general accounting tasks
• Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc)
• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients
• Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks
• Communicating directly with clients and addressing queries in a professional manner

Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Accounts Technician with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• A good team player with a strong professional work ethic.
