About the potential next-step
Responsibilities:
– Process accounts payable and receivable transactions using accounting software such as Sage and Excel
– Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
– Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
– Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
– Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
– Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
– Provide support to the accounting team as needed.
Skills:
– Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage and Excel
– Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
– Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
– Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
