About the Job

A leader in their specialised field, a local manufacturing company are seeking to add an accounts receivable assistant to their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to secure a position in a company recognised across the island. You will be primarily responsible for credit control, invoice processing and accountancy support. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9 am – 5.30 pm with an early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales ledger processing
• Credit Control.
• Assistance with the management of cash flow and reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns & Intrastats.
• Ensuring the timely submission of all statutory returns.
• Assisting with month-end reporting/reconciliations.
• Handling bank lodgements.

Previous experience

• 2 years experience in an office environment carrying out similar duties
• Confident and proficient in Excel and experience with MS Office
• Ability to manage own workload
