About the Company – Purchase Ledger  

This growing industry company is recruiting for an accounts payable specialist on a permanent basis. This company is based in Belfast, has free onsite parking, hybrid working and flexible working.

About the Job

What you will be doing initially:

•  Maintaining company’s purchase ledger

•  Reconciling supplier accounts to statements and processing payment

•  Ensuring all documents are processed on time and fully completed

•  Liaising with internal management and external customers

•  Assisting with closedown of Purchase ledger at month end.

Your skills & experience 

•  An accomplished AP professional with a minimum of 3 years current AP experience in a fast-paced commercial setting

•  Knowledgeable in a Procure to Pay / PO based AP environment

•  Experienced in processing employee expenses

•  Experienced in processing business credit cards

  • Company pension scheme, 5% employee contribution and 3% company contribution

  • Hybrid working, upon completing of training which will be provided in the offices
  • 20 days hols, plus 11 stats hols, rising to 25 annual hols after you have completed two years continuous service
  • Closure between Christmas and New year that is discretionary leave and stat leave.
  • Early finish every other Friday in July and August
  • 3pm finish on your birthday, if it falls on a weekday
  • Summer and winter employee events
  • After 3 months service, 4 weeks company sick pay per calendar year
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
  • Office hours are 9-5, with a 1hr lunch break.
