Accounts Payable Specialist

Are you currently an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist? I’m working with one of Ireland’s most reputable brands who are looking to recruit to their experienced finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your role will encompass a number of various responsibilities such as;

• Ownership of the Accounts Payable function for different entities across the company
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to guarantee prompt and correct processing of invoices
• In line with business policies and processes, review and process invoices for payment.
• In order to verify payment accuracy and address any disparities, keep an eye on and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Ensure that all accounts payable documentation, including vendor files and payment records, are current and accurate.
• As needed, provide assistance with month-end closure processes and other ad hoc duties.

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the concepts and procedures of accounts payable
• Being proactive in your approach to the workload
• Capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel
• 4+ years minimum experience within a similar position
