Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:

  • Managing the purchase ledger assistant’s workload and quality.
  • Control of all purchase ledger data entry.
  • Working closely with other Finance functions to ensure efficient & accurate processing of bank transactions on to ledgers.
  • Working to manage supplier payment runs in an efficient & effective manner.
  • Monthly supplier reconciliations
  • Management & developing supplier relationships.
  • Process and reconciling of invoices and credit notes promptly
  • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of all invoices
  • Reviewing and booking expenses and credit cards, onto the accounting system
  • Ad hoc assistance and reporting

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Possess problem-solving skills, and using these skills when decision making
  • Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word and Outlook
