Key Responsibilities:
As a member in the Accounts Payable team, your role will encompass a number of various responsibilities such as;
- Reconciliation of bank accounts & reconciling supplier accounts
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Preparing the invoices for payment
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Reviewing and tracking employee expenses for payment and approval
- Assisting in VAT returns
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks and projects across other company departments when necessary
- Working directly alongside the Financial Controller
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the concepts and procedures of accounts payable
- Being proactive in your approach to the workload
- Capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel
- 3+ years minimum experience within a similar position
- Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills
- High-volume transaction experience is essential
