End-to-End Accounts Specialist

Overview

This is a standalone, hands-on role ideal for a finance professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working closely with senior management.

This position offers excellent scope to develop into a senior finance role as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong financial controls

Payroll & Compliance

• Process weekly/monthly payroll end-to-end
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE/PRSI and RCT returns
• Ensure all Revenue submissions and payments are completed accurately and on time

Month-End & Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Analyse variances and provide financial insight to management
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Year-End & Statutory

• Prepare year-end files and liaise with external accountants/auditors
• Complete CRO filings and ensure statutory compliance
• Assist with the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems

Business Partnering

• Act as the main finance contact across the business
• Support leadership with financial information and decision-making

About You

Essential

• 2–4+ years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping/accounts role
• Strong experience in payroll and Irish Revenue compliance
• Experience in preparing management accounts
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable

• Part-qualified accountant or accounting technician qualification
• Experience working in an SME or standalone finance role
• Experience working with multiple accounting systems
