Job Description.

-Raise daily, weekly and monthly sales invoices using Sage, Tharstern and Eureka across all companies
-Collection and allocation of Direct Debits for both Postal Sort & Mail Matters
-Recording and post of incomes received to customer ledgers
-Weekly review of Aged debtors and resolution of any customer queries
- Issue of standard monthly and debt chasing statements

Communicating with customers via email or telephone, and recording details of customer contact in Sage 50;
· Reconcile daily bank resolving any queries within agreed timeframes

-To ensure all filing is completed in a timely and accurate manner;
-To communicate effectively with internal and external contracts;
-Supporting the Finance manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Raise daily, weekly and monthly sales invoices using Sage, Tharstern and Eureka across all companies
  • Collection and allocation of Direct Debits for both Postal Sort & Mail Matters
  • Recording and post of incomes received to customer ledgers
  • Weekly review of Aged debtors and resolution of any customer queries

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5 GCSE’s, at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Math’s;
  • 2 years’ experience in a finance role
  • experience of Sage 50 Accounts;
  • proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including intermediate or advanced Excel Skills;

Desirable

  • Experience of the payroll process;
  • Experience of Sage Payroll software;
  • Experience of purchase ledger, including supplier statement reconciliations;
  • Experience of preparing and processing supplier payments;
  • Part or fully qualified Accounting Technician;
  • Dealing and resolving customer queries.
