Our client is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team to assist with the day-to-day running of a busy finance department

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor receivables, post payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and prepare ageing reports.
• Handle customer billing queries and issue account statements.
• Assist with the month-end by providing AR reports and schedules.
• Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
• Work with sales and customer service to resolve account issues.
• Support internal and external audits.

Other Duties:

• Process weekly and monthly payroll.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with purchase ledger tasks.
• Carry out other finance duties as needed.

Your skills & experience

• ATI qualified or equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience using Sage (Essential)
• Previous experience working within a busy finance environment
