Accounts Assistant/Office Manager – £30,000–£35,000

Location: Belfast City Centre

HireIQ, a leading Accountancy & Finance Recruitment Partner, is on the lookout for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join our internal team.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Raise customer invoices and issue monthly statements
  • Assist with credit control and supplier payments
  • Process purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statements
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assist with VAT returns
  • Help prepare payroll and provide info to our external accountant
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Sage software
  • Support general office admin, including document management and email handling
  • Assist with HR tasks such as maintaining employee records and onboarding new staff

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounts admin role
  • Comfortable using Sage and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • A team player with a positive, professional attitude
