A local market-leading construction company based in Ballymena are seeking an accounts administrator/accounts administrator to join their established finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently handling a high volume of third-party creditor invoices with precision.
• Identifying discrepancies and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.
• Conducting thorough reconciliations of creditor statements.
• Assisting in processing supplier payments and preparing statutory returns.
• Generating and distributing monthly financial reports.
• Providing administrative support to the Group Finance Accounts Team by managing the inbox, organizing, and electronically filing invoices.
• Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Posting journal entries to the general ledger.
• Completing accurate bank reconciliations

Essential

• Experience working in a finance department in a similar role (2+years)
• Experienced in Sage, Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills

Skills/Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Experience working in the construction industry with knowledge of CIS and RCT VAT.
