A local family-run business is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Technician to join their team. The company who operate throughout the province have recently experienced rapid growth and due to this expansion is looking to add to its Accounts Team.
About the Job
Reporting directly to the Company Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Daily Processing of Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Supplier payments
- Month end journals
- Credit control/supplier queries
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Monthly reports
- Ad hoc duties
Your skills & experience
- 2 years experience working in an office environment completing similar duties as above
- Studying towards or previously gained IATI or currently Part Qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others and work effectively across functions.
- SAGE knowledge
