About the job

Reporting to the Company Accountant you will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…

  • Processing a high volume of supplier and subcontractor invoices
  • Reconciling statements and preparing spreadsheets for supplier and subcontractor payment runs
  • In depth reviews of costs to ensure the company purchasing policy is adhered to
  • Assisting with the preparation of internal management reports
  • Assist in the analysis of costs and preparation of reports
  • Communication with our suppliers and internal management to resolve queries
  • Issuing Purchase Orders
  • Working to monthly deadlines
  • Using our inhouse, bespoke software alongside Sage
  • Any other duties that may be required

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a fast-paced finance department (desirable)
  • Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to resolve queries and use initiative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
