Reporting to the Company Accountant the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for and assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Raising customer invoices and issuing monthly statements.
- Assisting with credit control.
- Processing purchase invoices, supplier statements reconciliations and issuing payments.
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns.
- Assisting with weekly payroll
- Updating all transactions on Sage.
- Handling day-to-day telephone and email enquiries.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
- Managing a filing system
Previous experience
- Recent relevant experience of working in a similar office role in a fast-paced busy environment demonstrates your ability to meet the demands of this role
- Excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- To have strong confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the accounts function
- Experience with Sage accounts package
