A great opportunity has developed in a growing local business that operates throughout the UK and Ireland for an Accounts Administrator to join an established finance Team. This role is suitable for an experienced Accounts professional or a junior candidate looking to gain further experience.
About the Job
You will be responsible for Assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Purchase ledger processing including month-end procedures
- Preparation of VAT and CIS returns
- Reconciling credit card transactions
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Providing general office administrative support as required
Your skills & experience
- Studying towards ATI or equivalent will be considered
- Proficiency with Sage and Microsoft – particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a high-volume invoicing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
