This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounting Technician or trainee accountant to fast track their career with the successful candidate gaining excellent accounting exposure and career progression.
About the Job
Working within an established team the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects from the ground up. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 2.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Purchase/Sales Ledgers
- Supplier payments
- Month end journals
- Credit control/supplier queries
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Monthly reports
- Ad hoc duties as required
Previous experience
- 1 years’ experience in an office environment carrying out similar duties
- Studying towards or recently gained ATI qualification
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and IT skills
- Flexible approach and open to new ideas
- Ability to manage own workload
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting software’s preferable but not essential
