About the Job
Working within an established team the successful candidate will be responsible for helping oversee the financial operations of a company that is going through a phase of strong organic growth . The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.
Key responsibilities
- Submissions of financial reports
- Assist in completion of P&L reporting
- Monthly accrued income workings, subsequent reconciliations, and postings
- Reconciliation of hardware costs in month
- Responsible for upkeep of accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules
- Group costs allocations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Other monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of bank reconciliation process
- Review of purchase invoices
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with year-end audit queries
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects
- Oversee the junior finance team staff
Previous experience
- Qualified Accounting Technician or PQ
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Driven to succeed in all aspects of work.
