About the potential next-step
Purpose of this role is to assist with the production of the Group management accounts, the month-end processes and to ensure the overall performance of the finance function.
- Month-end account preparation
- Monthly management and statutory accounts
- Support with the sales & purchase ledger management
- Bank reconciliations, VAT & journals
- General support activities to the finance function
Your skills & experience
- 1+ years experience in a similar role
- Qualified accounting technician (IATI) or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Proficient in the use of Sage Line 50
- Strong numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as effectively contribute within the team environment
