HIREIQ, specialist recruitment partner for accountancy and finance professionals across Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland and New York, has announced the appointment of Feargal McCormack as a Non-Executive Director.
The appointment comes at a time of continued growth for HireIQ as the business further invests in scale, capability and international expansion.
Feargal is a former President of Chartered Accountants Ireland and founded FPM Chartered Accountants in 1991. In May 2022, the firm merged with private equity-backed AAB Group, where Feargal is currently Senior Partner and Head of Family Business. He was recognised at the 2025 Irish Accountancy Awards for his outstanding contribution to the accountancy sector across Ireland.
Alongside his role within AAB Group, Feargal holds a number of senior leadership positions, including Pro-Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast and Director of Co-Operation Ireland.
