About the Job

Working closely with Partners and Directors, the Corporate Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties…

• Manage and develop a portfolio of key Corporate Tax clients.
• Lead complex Corporate Tax advisory projects and provide commercially focused advice.
• Work closely with Partners and Directors on strategic client assignments.
• Provide technical advice across a broad range of UK Corporate Tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and advise clients on potential risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Oversee Corporate Tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior and qualified members of the Corporate Tax team.
• Support networking, business development and winning new Corporate Tax work.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Corporate Tax team.
• Work collaboratively with wider Tax, Audit and Advisory teams.

Previous experience

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA qualified (or equivalent).
• Significant Corporate Tax experience within an accountancy practice.
• Previous experience at Senior Manager or experienced Manager level.
• Strong technical knowledge across UK Corporate Tax.
• Proven experience delivering complex Corporate Tax advisory work.
• Experience managing senior client relationships and key stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing tax professionals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to progress towards Director and Partner level.
