About the company

This role involves taking day-to-day oversight of the finance function, overseeing and developing a small team of finance staff. Working closely with Operations and Commercial teams, there is also a strong focus on business partnering and raising the profile of finance across the business. Combined with a clear progression pathway, this is an opportunity not to be missed for an ambitious Qualified Accountant seeking a new opportunity to truly drive their career forward.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing the finance team
• Business partnering with commercial teams
• Driving continuous improvement of systems and processes across finance
• Oversight of financial control and reporting
• Implementation and monitoring of KPI’s
• Cashflow management
• Involvement in various exciting projects as the business continues to expand
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role
• Excellent IT skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Leadership skills
